Neoris grew out of the innovative solutions it created for CEMEX, one of the world’s largest and most profitable cement producers. As in-house technology consultants at CEMEX, the Neoris professionals perfected their unique model for capturing value in a large enterprise. The Neoris team reduced the company’s integration cycles, increased productivity, and helped CEMEX reinvent itself as a digital leader in its industry.

 December 12, 2000
CxNetworks, CEMEX’s technology (internet) subsidiary, launches Neoris combining the assets of 5 web-builder companies: Argentina based web-builder Amtec, Mexico based IT and e-business consulting Cemtec, Venezuelan e-consultants CyberMedia, Spanish software developer Intec, and Brazilian internet solutions provider Mlab. The company is created as an e-consulting services firm to develop, provide and implement e-business solutions for large- and mid-size customers in industries such as construction, consulting, education, food & beverage, insurance, manufacturing, logistics, telecom, textiles, transportation, tourism and entertainment. The company’s broad range of solutions span from storefront creation to back-office integration. 

The company starts with 1,000 employees, generating $100 million dollars in revenue, and with offices in Mexico City, Monterrey, Buenos Aires, Rosario, Santiago de Chile, Caracas, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia, Madrid, Barcelona and Igualada. 

The company’s headquarters is set up in Miami. Martin Hecker is appointed Neoris’ CEO. 

2001
